so anyways,
xia called me up two-thursdays ago,
to tell me she's got a vacation job lobang for me!
which starts the following day.
so... thinking i might as well make use of my time,
instead of just slacking.
so i tagged mel along, since xia needed another helper.
i was told that its at the Suntec CC for the World Book Fair,
but we were allocated to some cheena booth!
mel had to sell towels, i had to sell air purifiers!
sheesh.
worst of all, we had to promote in mandarin!!!
helloooo,
i can barely converse in mandarin,
let alone promote a product!
i found myself repeatedly saying "lai, kan yi kan".
for the benefit of those pin yin-illiterates, it means "come, take a bloody look".
arggh, one day into that job,
and we were complaining bout bodyache and all.
my feet, goodness!
and boyfriend seemed to encourage my thought of quitting.
Lo and Behold!
on the 2nd day, the boss decided i'm not needed,
supposedly he's able to cope and all.
well, i was literally just standing around,
doing nothing! haha
thank goodness i went through only two days of torture.
everyday for the past two weeks,
i'd log on to the student portal,
eagerly hoping that the project results will be released.
and so last week, it was finally released.
a highly anticipated distinction pretty much went down the drain,
we got a grade lower.
with all the hard work and effort we put in, surely a distinction isn't far from reach !
and not long after that,
exams results were released too.
i didn't dare look initially,
so i got mark to take a peek,
and hopefully from his facial expression i could predict something.
but anyways, i couldn't hold my excitement long enough,
so i had to check it out myself.
well, relieved but believe i should have done better.
currently facing a dilemma,
to major in which,
Finance or Marketing??
