merry christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS !
i'm totally blasting on N'sync's Christmas album at 2 in the morn, oh yeahhh.
wow, time flies yeah it's already the end of december..
soon, we'll be counting down to 2010 =)

i couldn't be happier,
to be spending Christmas with Mark,
shopping and wrapping gifts,
placing em' under the tree,
cleaning his room...
this is definately something i wanna do for the rest of year-ends of my life!
indeed, it's not about the presents, the food.
it's about Jesus... and our loved ones.

i was looking through my 2009 of archives...
and indeed so much has happened,
but it feels like i didn't accomplish much, or maybe i did ?

5 semesters have passed,
and i'm entering my 6th and final semester !
indeed, hard work & lots of prayers.
i wouldn't have done it without my family, boo & fellow classmates.
it's been great =)

i'm looking forward to a good 2010.
have a blessed new year, and Merry Christmas lovelies!

Finally, i decided i should post about the end of '08.
Christmas Day, like the previous years, was spent at Mark's.
as usual, Aunty Corine cooked all the yummy stuffies!
and my baby's speciality, Shepard's pie!
ohhh my kueh pie ti :)

markie took a coupla days off so we could spend more quality time together.

off we were to the bowling alley!

been awhile since i last bowled, and boy i suck!

boyfriend has gone all pro,
with his own pair of bowling shoes, and the ball!

Dinner at mark's aunt's, Christmas and new year :)

it's a bloody ulu place, but definitely worth getting lost for!
but hey, thanks to iPhone Maps.

the horse stable was just behind us while we were dining!
no kidding. they were asleep though, and yes bhav, standing!

it was a fat-n-ugly day for me, bigass blister made it all worse,
but the girls never fail to make my day :)
delectable appetizers, entrées and oh so heavenly-dessert!
gift exchange was fun, i love surprises!

markie & i celebrated our 3rd year together last month !
it's been great, & i couldn't possibly ask for more.

it was tiring though we were slacking half the time,
get caught skiving and all!
but dang, it was so much fun!

This Christmas

it's raining at 2:18am,
on Christmas eve.

shopping during this festive period,
wrapping presents & placing them under the tree at boo's place,
made me feel like i'm part of this really special occasion.
i once told him,
"i've always wanted a Christmas tree".
i really got one the next Christmas. :)

not for materialistic things.

the past two weeks was shopping, shopping and more shopping!
i'm sure i need less than what i got,
but gee, it's a perfect excuse to splurge!
clothes mostly from mango.
best of all,
gong gong got me a new bag.
it's a Longchamp Le Pliage.
in its latest seasonal color: Parma.
somewhat like a washed out purple.

and so,
today was pretty much gorging myself with food.
chomp chomp chomp!

i just wanna say...
i lurrrrrrve my gong gong and popo !

journal of the past week

22nd jan, tuesday

met up with the girls to celebrate xia's belated 21st, and bhav's in advance.
headed over to Dempsey Hill for dinner, PS Cafe.
the girls (esp. bhav) were really excited over opening the pressies,
but i insisted we should leave it till dessert time!
and so, we headed over to Ben n Jerry's just over the other end.
i must say, it's one of the nicest ice-cream parlours i've ever been to!
kudos to the interior designer for the fire place!
i baked the girls cupcakes :)
their names spelt out, with pink icing !
my second time baking, since secondary school.
thought it'd be nice if i baked it myself, rather than getting it from an ordinary bakery. =)
had so much fun yeah!
we should totally do this sometime soon.
meanwhile, bhav is away in Bali,
swimming in the blue waters....

25th jan. friday

after school, mates and i headed over to Katong (where it truly feels like home).
had lunch at Aston's (which i had the previous weekend, i so need to cut down!).
off to parkway to finish up with some school work.
back to Aston's to interview, well Mr Aston himself.
i thought it went rather smoothly,
better than i expected in fact.
one would most probably be amazed with Aston's hospitality and obligedness.
indeed, he answered the questions,
with the mind of a true blue, successful businessman.

met mark in the evening,
headed to parkway. bought THAT pair of scandals.
gorgeousness. :)
back to his place.
it was his mom's 55th birthday!
so along with his family,
we headed out for dinner after cutting cake.
crab was yummy !
everything was. :)
thanks baby for dinner!
(grandpa says: just close your eyes and eat, it's like small drumsticks like that.)
haha !! isn't he so cute boo?!

26th & 27th, sat & sun

shopping on both days.
totally digging the fcuk off-shoulder sweater!
yes, bad attempt in trying to shop for CNY clothes,
cos everything i got is... either black, blue, white or grey!
okie, maybe a few other colors, but dull ones.
point it, i wasn't really thinkin, theme = cny = red?

sunday noon was mass :)
thereafter, lunch at my favourite prawn noodle shop along upper east coast rd!
yummyyy.
shopped at parkway with mark, his sis and mom.
headed over to mark's uncle's place in the evening with his family for dinner.
the new doggie is sooooooo cute!!

28th jan, monday

commercial law class in the afternoon.
i really like this module.
initial impression of lecturer: boring old hag!
and she proved to me that first impressions,
don't always mean we pass right judgements about others.
she's extremely interesting, packed with a whole lot of stories,
from her dinosaur-lawyer days. haha i quote!
her slapstick style of humor, sometimes almost wicked, i like.

after school, headed over to grandfolks'.
off to tampiness mall for dinner at crystal j's.
shopping for cny clothes.
sis and i got matching bSYI dresses.
in .... black and white!
not exactly apt for cny eh?
