lucky i'm in love.

our weekends recently, haven't been the most exciting.
although i do enjoy our usual activities of lunching at a nearby kopitiam,
back to the crib for some sharing of interesting youtube videos, bejeweling the ass out of each other, cuddling and smooching before dozing off in his bed of clouds, heading out once the sun sets, hit the nearby mall for window shopping, then crashing the cinema with a huge cuppa iced tea and caramel coated popcorn.

i mean hey, being together for almost four years now,
we've covered pretty much most of the interesting places we have here in singapore.
by interesting, i obviously don't mean unknown farms along our 'countryside' or whatever weird places.
i don't think i'd like to hang out in town every weekend,
with the typical Orchard Road crowd.
the only time i go there now ,
is if i wanna get something.
ahhh still drooling over the Miu Miu!
although i won't mind settling for any Prada saffianos!

i happen to check out on my already neglected Canon dslr last night,
checking on her condition in my dry box,
you know our horrible humid weather can do some serious damage if you don't tend to your SLR with some good ol' TLC.
indeed my Sillica Gel beads have turned purplish-pink,
time to change em to the fresh-blue ones.

morbidness.

i've been farting since i met the boo earlier this evening. so smew-ly.
i felt sick after lunch, could it be that i binged over lunch?
could it be the thought of Org Theory's paper?

i am officially done with semester four.
tests: check.
assignments: check.
exams: check.
results: pending.

this semester, is probably the toughest yet.
or is it not?
four modules, out of three were examinable.
i studied hard, perhaps not hard enough?

every night i'd be fixated on my neatly written stake of notes,
madly attempting to squeeze chucks into my head.
i don't know if i'm feeling relieved that exams are over.
i still feel ... uneasy.

God, i leave my worries to you, and trust you'd bless me with what i deserve.
i do not want to anticipate what my results might be.
but i can't help but thinking bout my OT paper.
i really hope i did enough to get a pass.
it's sad that i might be missing out on distinctions this semester,
but really, i'll be contented to just pass.
this semester has been tough on us all.
images keep flashing in my head,
imagining myself logging onto the portal on June 4th.
i hope i'd be able to present Mom with a good present, she turns 48 come June 6th :)
damn i have to stop brooding over exams.

boyfriend is turning 28 soon.
felt like just yesterday when we started dating :)
he was 24, I was 18.
it's been a long ride.
long and pleasant one.

i can't help it but i admit.
i'm pretty temperamental.
i don't know if it's my desperate attempt for boyfriend's attention,
when we're not physically together,
or that i just wanna test his patience.
either way,
i feel blessed that his tolerance level is like, wayyy up there.

gong gong & po po have decided to go on their annual trip to the states.
i was part of the plan,
till the Swine came along.
mom has all reasons to get paranoid.
of all times, why now?
i hope my grandfolks will be safe though.
next time i guess.

like any other obama supporter,
i tuned in to last night's US presidential inauguration.
he was totally nervous during the swearing in !

finally got my hands on his book.
train rides seem so much faster while reading.
as i scurried into LT 4.02,
eyes still glued to page 78,
i realised i settled down along the aisle, with no familiar faces to greet.
hmm, just another LM lecture alone.
well hey, i pay more attention this way.

found my way to the national library after lecture,
spent a good whole 4hours there?
flippin and zappin, flippin and zappin.
oh yea. now the motivation is startin to kick in.
tomorrow is the day i get goin baby.

the weekend,
was filled with awesomeness as usual.

Finally, i decided i should post about the end of '08.
Christmas Day, like the previous years, was spent at Mark's.
as usual, Aunty Corine cooked all the yummy stuffies!
and my baby's speciality, Shepard's pie!

markie took a coupla days off so we could spend more quality time together.

off we were to the bowling alley!

been awhile since i last bowled, and boy i suck!

1st July '08

on my 21st birthday

it was a scorching Tuesday morning,
mark picked me up, and off we were to his place.
where i was in for a pleasant surprise :)

with my eyes shut,
he held on to me, and was led to his room..
that was when i heard this Happy Birthday song

as the song was played,
i opened my eyes and saw this on his bed..
this moment i felt a rush of emotions,
before i knew it i was in tears..

he made me a card!
made with love, specifically in my favourite color too!
the bouquet of roses is simply gorgeous :)
and a Tiffany & Co. charm bracelet which he got me when he brought me to the jewellery boutique.
and a Louis Vuitton Speedy 30.

we headed for Pasir Ris Park,
where we had dinner at Midsummer Nite Breeze.
alfresco dining by the beach, simply perfect :)
went for dessert and drinks at Teasire,
where we admired a mini Singapore Flyer!
then headed home to cut cake with my family!

it was indeed a special day spent with a special someone :)
