why is sadness an emotion we feel so often?
be it with the loss of a family member,
the sight of a helpless child, begging off the streets.

weren't very easy.
i feel the pain,
of the loss of an auntie.
an amazing woman.

just a moment ago,
i was feeling the pain of a dear friend.
i might not understand fully,
what immense stress she is under,
but i wish,
with what i'm able to offer,
a listening ear,
a shoulder to cry on,
will be of help.
it hurts to know,
whom you thought was one of your true friends,
turns her back on you.
but dear,
remember,
axe worthless people out of your life.
treasue the ones you've got.
because one is all you need.
i hope with all that faces despair,
picks themselves up,
and soon enough sees that the life God has given us,
is more than getting stuck at a single crossroad,
it's about learning to leave things behind,
move on to your next adventure,
for God has much planned for us.
