here we go, again!

am spending my cozy Tuesday afternoon,
at home, trying to complete one of my many essays.
and i'm enjoying myself, really!
the completion of each assignment,
accompanied with a sense of achievement,
feels ohhhhhhh so good.

blasting on 987,
singing along to the tunes,
like no one's listening.
doing some crazy typing.. scrolling.. flipping.
oh project madness,
i love!

i feel like i'm finally finding a balance in life.
juggling boyfriend, school, friends...
as for the family, i'm workin on it!
you know,
i wake up everyday,
feeling pumped up!
i look forward to what's about to happen for the day.
i'm lovin life, like i never did before.
so weird.

The Dark Knight

The Dark Knight: 3/5 stars

sadly, it didn't blow me away.
Heath Ledger's death has been exploited by sheer marketing.
i mean, did Hollywood really pay much attention to him,
till his death?
no i say.
however, he was a pretty freaky joker i reckon!
"why so serious?"
oh gosh, that tone of his voice,
totally gave me chills!

Christian Bale as Batman...
extremely charming...
that stare that exudes sex appeal.
ooo.
seems like he is always landing the 'dark' roles,
you know like how he played one of the evil twins,
in The Prestige.

female lead ...
so blah,
so mediocre!
Charlize Theron would have done a much better job!

talking about Charlize T,
markie and i just caught her 2005 flick,
Monster,
a true story about an american lesbian,
who got executed...
how prostitution led her to such depths of desperation,
for money, to please her selfish lesbian partner,
played by Christina Ricci.
very intense movie.
catch it i say.

oh sorry!
got carried away,
back to batman,
my favourite batman of all time,
is without a doubt,
the original, Michael Keaton!!!

it's past 1am,
and i'm drowning myself in books i borrowed from the NLB.
employment relations essay due in 3 weeks!
HRM lecture today was... better than i expected,
albeit the lecturer was rather, self-indulgent.
he kept talking in the third person!
i thought only Kings do that.

did a quick scan and

surprisingly,
there weren't many familiar faces.
i really thought i was doomed, gonna be chucked to some random group.
but.. ha! i asked the twins if i could join 'em,
glad to say i'm not group-less!

the next month or so,
will be one hellva ride!

21 things on my mind.

i just had Jane's Cake Station chocolate cake, ohhhh the chocolate, orgasmic.
i'm into week 2 of (oh my i just realised!!) year two, a year and a half to graduation.
mark's mom cooked curry today, simply delicious.
i'm going to the national library tomorrow.
i really, really wanna shed some weight.
i'm still contemplating about my attendance to Mabel's and Cindee's 21st parties.
i tried to start on ER essay, but kinda failed.
i hope i pull through this semester, with 5 projects.
i miss popo and gong gong.
i need a french manicure.
i want the burberry tote.
time spent with my boyfriend today, precious indeed.
i need to go to the movies.
i find it hard to socialise well these days.
i think it comes with age.
turning 21 , i still feel 16.
i'm craving for Swanky Franky from Botak Jones.
i want big poofy hair.
i wanna dye my hair brown.
i want a closet full of bags, clothes and shoes, all with a brand.
being your girlfriend, is awesome.

i need a pair of these!
i've yet to come across any of these in town.

all the hype about this flick,
was only because Will Smith never fails to deliver.
well okay, maybe I am Legend wasn't exactly up to standards either.
but anyways,
once the twist was revealed... the rest of the movie just went downhill.
Charlize Theron just didn't seem like she was right for the role..
Will Smith and Charlize Theron... zilch compatibility please!
i'd prefer... Halle Berry?

yuns joined us later, along with her friends,
awkard indeed.
headed to Parkway Macs,
where i had my 3rd birthday cake,
Cheeseeecake!
so much fun and laughter,
you know,
stacey's usual antics!
i've never blown candles the way i did that night!

on my 21st birthday

it was a scorching Tuesday morning,
mark picked me up, and off we were to his place.
where i was in for a pleasant surprise :)

with my eyes shut,
he held on to me, and was led to his room..
that was when i heard this Happy Birthday song

as the song was played,
i opened my eyes and saw this on his bed..
this moment i felt a rush of emotions,
before i knew it i was in tears..

he made me a card!
made with love, specifically in my favourite color too!
the bouquet of roses is simply gorgeous :)
and a Tiffany & Co. charm bracelet which he got me when he brought me to the jewellery boutique.
and a Louis Vuitton Speedy 30.

we headed for Pasir Ris Park,
where we had dinner at Midsummer Nite Breeze.
alfresco dining by the beach, simply perfect :)
went for dessert and drinks at Teasire,
where we admired a mini Singapore Flyer!
then headed home to cut cake with my family!

it was indeed a special day spent with a special someone :)
thank you baby for all that you've done,
I LOVE YOU.
