Time with my gurlies

and so my mates and i have been really busy trying to meet our group assignment deadline.
been meeting so often,
let's hope results are more than satisfying, yeah?
i'm still wondering if i work better as an individual or as a team...
anyways, keeping my fingers crossed that we'll do well!

after school yesterday(29 Aug),
headed to Holland Village for Michelle's birthday dinner.
her birthday's actually today - 30 Aug.
so happy birthday babe!
i can't believe i lost my way!
i missed my stop, thank goodness Alicia was with me,
to calm me down.
cos i was seriously panicking!
you know i've got such a horrible sense of direction!
so yeah, had to go to the opposite direction, to hop on another bus.

met chinkz to get the cake,
then headed to an Italian restaurant - La Nona(hope i got the name right) to make our reservation.
it made an obvious choice because of the ambience they offered on its 2nd level.

so we waited and waited........
michelle's always late!
and yeah the first thing she uttered when she saw me was 'Bitch...'!
haha then she started crying.
she was really touched! haha!
she wasn't expecting me cos i said i couldn't make it.
food was pretty good..
dessert was wayyy too rich and sinful!
being Cinderella, i reached home just before midnight.

met Sarah and Chinkz at Ikea for meatballs today!
had to see sarah before she leaves for Canada on monday.
followed chingz to outram - blood bank for blood donation.
a pity the doc said she's under the weight requirement...
so no squeeshy ball for me!
sarah and i obviously had no balls, so yeah we didn't donate blood.
headed over to Chinatown - Temple St. for dessert!

my all time favourite.
the one in Bugis is better though, more mango!
so yeah we then parted ways at about 4ish.

it's surprising what happened during OB lecture today.
a really pleasant surprise.
mike called out some students to the front,
myself being one of them.
we got a book each for well-written essay. =)
indeed a motivation to work harder.

munching on my bar of Twix.

hit town with xia after school yesterday to meet bhavie for dinner,
went to wheelock's Fish & Co.
ordered so much because we were so super hungry,
ate like pigs didn't we? haha!
laughed so loud the whole time we were there,
talking about Pokemon and all!

the last week was spent rushing to meet the individual essay deadline,

it's amazing how motivated i felt.
i mean, back in poly,
i really really had like zilch motivation!
well, almost.
i'm thinking it's either cos i'm interested in what i'm studying now
or because i know i have to do well.
i really have to.

biz stats test yesterday was.. alright i guess.
i mean you never know,
you might think you'll do well....
but oh wells.
the MCQ answers were all so close!


school's been rather... fun.
friends are a great bunch,
i've got about 6 other girls in my cliche.
4 of which are IJ girls! =)

spent my saturday mugging,
took a few hours off on Sunday for mass,

picnic anyone ?

yes, sis's back from the states!
and she has brought back with her many goodies!
loadsa chocolates and sweets!
and mostly her own stuff like clothes.
but she got me nice stuff from Forever21 there,
one of which is a Little Miss Bossy shirt, and a dress.
grandparents won't be back till late August.
till then, i shall be eagerly waiting for my Coach wristlet.
for now, I've settled for my new Coach Carly Cotton large tote.
been wanting the Demi, but i can definitely settle for the tote!
it's not sold here in the Singapore boutiques though.

Saturday:
baby got me the gingerbread man aka Gingy from Shrek!
it's sooo adorable lah! it utters 3 different phrases !

went to vivo for lunch and shopping.
got clothes from forever21 and tangs.
checked out the lomo cameras at PageOne.
grocery shopping at Giant, for our picnic! =)
then, back to boo's crib.

Sunday:
usual, went for noon mass.
headed back home for lunch,
and made our ham and egg mayo sandwiches for the picnic!
headed to ECP in the evening.
was really romantic,
the sun was setting, it was just us two.
weather was great, breezy and all..
good place to relax and just lay back.. =)
packed up and went to parkway to shop,
so happy with the load i got from dorothy.p,
thanks hun!

because this week i've got to study and finish my assignment.
