approximately two weeks ago,
on the 18th February'08,
i had the honour of attending the legendary Carlos Santana's concert,
at the indoor stadium!

music was amazing, about three quarter of the crowd were up on their feet dancing.
and believe me,
i very much wanted to too,
but it' be so embarrassing!
i didn't wanna be blocking the people behind too!
but when the end approached,
accompanied with a standing ovation,
he closed the show with - his latest featuring Chad Kroeger,
Into the Night!
that was smashin man.
Santana's one heck of a performer.
sat for my second term-test, yesterday.
i have to say Marketing was a tricky one.
and the last accounting class,
was probably one of those that i fully understood what Bean Lai was blabbering about.
the coming test in two weeks time,
will be one i ought to revise hard for.
anyways, after the test,
the girls and i skipped marketing lecture.
headed off to Holland V for lunch at crystal jade's.
served with congee + dim sum.
after which, cold rock again!
sweetness.
weekend!
shopping at vivo with my markie boy :)
fcuk dress + tangs studio slip-ons.
plus candy empire's chocs.
life's good eh.

gong hay fatt choy !
happy lunar new year all!
the past two weeks was shopping, shopping and more shopping!
i'm sure i need less than what i got,
but gee, it's a perfect excuse to splurge!
clothes mostly from mango.
best of all,
gong gong got me a new bag.
it's a Longchamp Le Pliage.
in its latest seasonal color: Parma.
somewhat like a washed out purple.
and so,
today was pretty much gorging myself with food.
chomp chomp chomp!
i just wanna say...
i lurrrrrrve my gong gong and popo !
my happy pills :)

journal of the past week
22nd jan, tuesday
met up with the girls to celebrate xia's belated 21st, and bhav's in advance.
headed over to Dempsey Hill for dinner, PS Cafe.
the girls (esp. bhav) were really excited over opening the pressies,
but i insisted we should leave it till dessert time!
and so, we headed over to Ben n Jerry's just over the other end.
i must say, it's one of the nicest ice-cream parlours i've ever been to!
kudos to the interior designer for the fire place!
i baked the girls cupcakes :)
their names spelt out, with pink icing !
my second time baking, since secondary school.
thought it'd be nice if i baked it myself, rather than getting it from an ordinary bakery. =)
had so much fun yeah!
we should totally do this sometime soon.
meanwhile, bhav is away in Bali,
swimming in the blue waters....

25th jan. friday
after school, mates and i headed over to Katong (where it truly feels like home).
had lunch at Aston's (which i had the previous weekend, i so need to cut down!).
off to parkway to finish up with some school work.
back to Aston's to interview, well Mr Aston himself.
i thought it went rather smoothly,
better than i expected in fact.
one would most probably be amazed with Aston's hospitality and obligedness.
indeed, he answered the questions,
with the mind of a true blue, successful businessman.
met mark in the evening,
headed to parkway. bought THAT pair of scandals.
gorgeousness. :)
back to his place.
it was his mom's 55th birthday!
so along with his family,
we headed out for dinner after cutting cake.
crab was yummy !
everything was. :)
thanks baby for dinner!
(grandpa says: just close your eyes and eat, it's like small drumsticks like that.)
haha !! isn't he so cute boo?!
26th & 27th, sat & sun
shopping on both days.
totally digging the fcuk off-shoulder sweater!
yes, bad attempt in trying to shop for CNY clothes,
cos everything i got is... either black, blue, white or grey!
okie, maybe a few other colors, but dull ones.
point it, i wasn't really thinkin, theme = cny = red?
sunday noon was mass :)
thereafter, lunch at my favourite prawn noodle shop along upper east coast rd!
yummyyy.
shopped at parkway with mark, his sis and mom.
headed over to mark's uncle's place in the evening with his family for dinner.
the new doggie is sooooooo cute!!

28th jan, monday
commercial law class in the afternoon.
i really like this module.
initial impression of lecturer: boring old hag!
and she proved to me that first impressions,
don't always mean we pass right judgements about others.
she's extremely interesting, packed with a whole lot of stories,
from her dinosaur-lawyer days. haha i quote!
her slapstick style of humor, sometimes almost wicked, i like.
after school, headed over to grandfolks'.
off to tampiness mall for dinner at crystal j's.
shopping for cny clothes.
sis and i got matching bSYI dresses.
in .... black and white!
not exactly apt for cny eh?

catching up.
i spent my last coupla days waking up after 1pm. whee.
been catching up with friends quite a bit.
wednesday:
dinner with ex-colleagues at vivo's asian kitchen.
dessert; fondue at haagen dazs.
thursday:
mel had craving for TP's design school western food!
and off we went for a very late lunch,
exploring the school after being there for 3 years.
haha was fun !
then shopping at tampines,
followed by dinner with my love :)
friday:
shopping with mel again!
at vivo again.
as usual, Forever21 never fails to trap me in for at least half an hr!
La Senza, always good.
dinner in town with bhav!
our usual makan place,
Fish & Co.
had a really nice time yakking and yakking :)
say no more.

Happy Children's Day
i really don't know what to anticipate for my accounting results.
have got a really bad feeling... that i might flunk this one.
well, keeping my fingers crossed, hoping i get at least a pass.
the other two modules are not much of a feat as compared to accounting.
but nonetheless will put in all i have.
today officially marks the first day of revision!
to start, i've kicked it off with Biz Stats.
which just reminds me of Sami Nathan.
my friendly lecturer!
whom goes like this..
'stoood? stooood? stoooooooodddddd??'
and whether we stood him or not,
we just have to reply with a very irritated 'STOOD'.
else can you imagine how stood-s he's gonna say?!
ha! thinking about it cracks me up.
OB is going to be reading reading and more reading.
Accounting is.. memorising formats?
went for a haircut last Friday at Parkway.
it's so friggin' short now! owells.
met Bhav for dinner at Aston's.
had to queue for almost an hour. as usual.
weekend was slippers spree!
the usual town roaming :)
boo and i got matching slippers too!
got this other Animal slipper, which gave me really bad blisters :(
but anyway, the first local Animal shop is opening at Parkway!

monday not so blue :)
it's surprising what happened during OB lecture today.
a really pleasant surprise.
mike called out some students to the front,
myself being one of them.
we got a book each for well-written essay. =)
indeed a motivation to work harder.
look what arrived yesterday !

My sis managed to get all the editions.
