pledge yourselves?

i've been keeping myself busy with stuff at school.
the upcoming weeks will be really packed with a test and assignment deadlines.
ha, and the following month too.
with the first assignment done, it's time to move on to the next.
i can't seem to catch what the lecturer is talking about in Finance class.
urgh. doesn't help that it's on Saturdays.

time passed really fast today.
class at noon,
boyfriend picked me up,
and off we were to guitar shopping :)
oh, we went to this one at Katong Shopping Centre,
the sales assistant told me i had to leave my bag at the front of the shop,
like on a cart... and anyone could've just taken it and run away!
it's so dumb really,
like HELLO! like i can so fit a guitar into my A4 size bag.
fyi, they don't sell guitar strings, tabs and what not (you know small accessories).
celebrated markie's dad's birthday today too :)
crab was absolutely yumsss.

something interesting happened on my way to school.
this buncha teenagers, dressed in our national colors,
boarded the train, starting shouting out loud,
asking everyone to join in "The Moment" at 8.22pm today.
in case you didn't know,
it's a moment where all of Singapore will supposedly recite the pledge together.
hmm i mean creative way to raise awareness,
but do you think people will really do that?
knowing Singaporeans!
yeah and everyone else stared at them like gong-gong.
hey, i smiled at them!

something else that's interesting!
chong sent me this sms, that got me and my family laughing out loud:

We, the passengers of MRT,
poise ourselves as one united kiasu.
Regardless of pregnant women,, elderly & little children,
to chiong in when the doors open,
so as to achieve seats, sleep & rest.

haha like what the hell right.
but hey, i think it soo describes the typical sort of Singaporeans.
eh eh i'm one of the exceptions ok.

wheee Sunday!
