hello world.
it's 2:05am, and i really should be in bed already.
i miss the boo =(
he's away in camp.
so glad i'll be seeing him tml !

anyways,
the BKK trip was a total blast !
shopping extravaganza baby!
i bought a lot, with s$750!
you can never get that amount of loot in Singapore for sure.

food , clothes, bags and shoes are aplenty!
can't wait for the next trip!
till then, i shall start saving since this trip was an all expenses paid one,

2012

2012 : 4 / 5 stars
there are so many doomsday-ish sorta flicks,
like The Day After Tomorrow & Doomsday,
which fail to create much of an impression.
but i must say 2012 definitely did...
watching this 2hour + show,
with bloody amazing digital effects,
really sets you thinking...
come 21st December 2012...
will the world really come to an end,
like it is according to the Book of Genesis?

how will we prepare for this day?
is there even a need for preparation?
i imagined, if it were true...
i won't even try running,
for if this is what God has planned for us,
then that's the plan.

overall,
it's a must watch..
although i felt a lil' weird after the movie...
watch it, and you'll know what i mean.

SAW IV & This Is It

SAW IV: 3 / 5 stars
to me, none of the sequels after no. 3, quite matched up to the first few.
i mean it keeps getting worse, and more boring.
perhaps it's because i'm immune to the level of grossness.
but anyways,
don't waste your time on Jigsaw,
cos the box office is definitely offering better ones!

it was the bomb!
the missing 0.5 star, goes to the lack of variety of footages?
they seem to come from the same day of rehearsals, noticed that fro MJ's costumes, or rather his daily attire.
but man! i was feeling the music, right down to my bones baby!
i was grooving to every beat, and the audience were clappin' and all,
it was bloody good alright!
i'd watch it again !

yeah it's that time of the night when i'm feeling emotional,
perfect for penning my thoughts.
anyways, caught This Is It earlier,
it was absolutely awesome,

the past month of revision, to date..
is beginning (or already began?) to take its toll on me.
i sat for two papers so far.
sadly, i didn't quite come out of the hall, smiling.
i'm starting to wonder, what's wrong with me this semester?
i've come this far, not to accept failure as an option.
despite trying my utmost best,
it seems like i've disappointed myself, twice thus far.

i felt like i had so much sadness and raw emotions,
that was waiting to just burst out,
i just didn't know through which outlet.
do i cry? do i shout? do i binge?
what the fuck should i do?
i felt like i lost my way for a while...
i prayed to God, for guidance and strength.
for it is He whom i seek refuge in.
and i am finding the strength to pull myself back up,
shall give it my all for my last two papers.
i keep telling myself, i gotta do well,
and i still stand by my belief,

24 days from freedom, 34 days from the Bangkok trip, 73 days from Christmas and my weigh-in!

i did go in the cinema, thinking we were about to watch an artsy romantic comedy of sorts.
and on came the narrator, warning that it isn't a love story we were about to watch..
uhh okie, a bit too late to get a refund, right?

anyhoos, i thought the leads bear a striking resemblance to Heath Ledger and Katy Perry !
anyways, i thought this movie was alright, not your typical type of love story, duh.
i guess i'm lucky to say that boo & i are definitely like Tom, the male character,
who believes in true love :)
while Summer... is just one psycho, who in my opinion, cheated Tom of his feelings,
even though she told him she wasn't into commitments... turned out she got married shortly after.
i really liked Tom's quirky way of telling his side of the story though.
cute how he ended up meeting this girl named, Autumn.
so are you more of a Tom or Summer person?
