My 22nd Birthday!

i turned 22 !
double my favourite digit, 2. :)
it was an awesome day spent with Mark.
i must say, he's really good with surprises!

So anyways,
we caught Transformers : Revenge of The Fallen at Vivocity GV Gold Class!

it's our first time going for Gold Class,

and i must say, boy am i impressed!
the chairs were so comfy, adjustable to almost a 180 degrees, shiokness!

headed over to Timbre : The Substation for dinner!

we ordered too much food, but dang it was good :)

Jack & Rai, together with their band, forming EIC were staging that night.

Rai's really good i reckon!
markie zai sneakily managed to slip a dedication to the band!

eve of my 22nd

30th June' 09

supposedly a family dinner to celebrate my 22nd birthday...
when all arrived, mum said my grand aunts were on their way,
bringing with them a huge surprise, so she made me shut my eyes,
in the midst of it, i heard murmurs and some giggling.
i opened my eyes to find my uni mates there!
alicia, hwee and the twin boys.
lol sneaky sneaky these people!
mum had been secretly in contact with them. haha!
ya'll totally got me!

was so nice to have my family, boyfriend and friends all have dinner together,
for me ! :)
boyfriend, friends & i, headed over to East Coast Park,
to Beach Cabana for a drink.
root beer float anyone? :)
it was an awesome day!
not to mention my midnight kiss from the boy :)

it still hasn't really set it...
what a great loss to the music world... the humanitarian community.

Transformers 2 & Ice Age 3

Transformers : Revenge of The Fallen - 3/5 stars
boo's a huge fan, and because it was my birthday,
we caught this in Gold Class! (more on that in another post)
the film was kinda draggy i thought, 2 1/2 hours of fighting chucks of steel.
and Megan Fox? she's only in the flick cos she's a pretty face.
seriously now, do you even think she had any major scenes here?
overall, the prequel was wayyy better.

Ice Age 3 : Dawn of The Dinosaurs - 4/5 stars
was really lookin forward to this one,
and indeed, it didn't disappoint!
i really enjoyed this flick.
it's so funny how the two squirrels kept fighting for that one nut!
go catch this i say!
